Ping Pong is a simple and fun game that is not quite as demanding as some other kinds of sports. You can play it inside in any weather and with minimal space, training and equipment. You do not have to be incredibly fast, powerful or capable of running for hours on end to do it, you just need an adequate quantity of stamina, excellent reflexes and a quick mind. These factors increase the general attractiveness of ping pong, and are a reason why lots of personal fitness centers in people’s homes will have a ping pong table or a billiards table. Need to know about ping pong is your gear. A ping pong table, net, a ball and two paddles are all you require. For keeping score, a simple notebook and pencil will do, if you do not would like to purchase a chalk scoreboard or something. Apart from those basic essentials, there is nothing else that you invest in originally.
We get to the basic requirements that are physical. Provided that you jog a little from time to time and may walk up and down many flights of stairs without being reduced into a wheezing bag of blubber, you will be fine. The average person can enter ping pong. The main physiological factors behind ping pong are agile wrists, reflexes and balance that are decent. Otherwise, if your balance and reflexes are decent you will do. The reason for the demand for reflexes is obvious that the simple objective of ping pong would be to thwack a tiny ball between you and your opponent until you fumbles and misses swatting the ball. This does not really need any running around just minor alterations to your stance and changes in body weight to make you lean more to one side or another.
Apart from the requirements that are physical, there is a mental requirement for ping pong – be a planner, and be calm. Like a fencing match, ping pong ball demands a mind to choose the reflexes. It is not enough to have the ability to block every shot your opponent makes; you need to have the ability to plan the angles that you send back the ball and also to plan a step or two ahead every opportunity to understand where your competitor’s return shot will be heading. This mental element is why some people with slower reflexes can actually win against physically exceptional players they could send one shot to a particular angle, force their opponent to a particular physical position, then as soon as the ball heads their way again, return it in an angle that their opponent cannot get to in time because they are out of place to counter.
